This place is local to us. We have had many, many meals here ever since the place opened. Every meal has been of the same excellent quality. We have never had a bad meal and they have all been served with very little delay despite being very busy at times. I highly recommend this place.
Good food, good beer and friendly service. Been here a few times and always found it to be reliable. Dropped a because the food was not as hot as it could have be but I think it was just very busy at that point. Really pleasant staff.
Went there last night for my wife SURPRISE!! birthday. Had family from South wales travelling up and daughter from Bangor university which my wife didn't know about. On entry we were approached by a member of staff who said he couldn't find our booking and asked for my reference number. Tried to keep my cool as my wife was stood with me. Luckily another member of staff came over and pointed to the top of the list. 'Ah right,' he said 'you've a table for 12, everybody else is here.' Could not believe it. When I tried to explain it was supposed to be a surprise for my wife and to say she wasn't supposed to know about it, his only response was 'Well I didnt know about this table either!' Poor customer service on his part on what was other wise a lovely evening. What made it worse I believe he was the manager!!!
Large table of twenty - we waited a while for drinks and food but to be expected on a busy night. Food was all brought out at the same time (within reason/few minor delays) and all hot. Everyone enjoyed meals and great value for money.Thank you for the great night :)
The restaurant was very busy and we expected a little wait as we were a party of 11..The starters were served at the same time...and when starter dishes were cleared about 15 mins later the main courses were served..the food was nice and hot and was served on warm plates.Food excellent and plenty of choice.The rotisserie where the chickens were cooking was in full view and looked very clean..A really good experience all round.Would recommend..
