Great pub, lively and popular. Good selection of bears and outstanding menu, the food is superb, way above your average pub grub. Live music and other events always on the go. Highly recommended.
So .... have been meaning to call here for some time. Finally got here and I was slightly disappointed. First off I real welcome.... when seated we were offered a two course menu or the full a la carte menu when all we fancied was a really nice sandwich at lunchtime. Felt pressured to spend. Bar man got us our drinks, went to the bar to order and the same bar man asked if we were alright for drinks doh! I ordered an open bacon and brie sandwich and got a closed one the Brie saw no heat and bacon a little underdone in my opinion. In all fairness the waitress was helpful and a knocked it off the bill and got extra chips which were pretty good chips. So that was my experience today here. Slightly disappointed but was rectified satisfactory.
Absolutely phenomenal! Went as a large group and service was quick, food was amazing and priced surprisingly cheap for what you get!
Great value early evening menu. Good service. Range of gin cocktails. A place to go in a group rather than on own.
Very attractive place to have lunch,coffee or a beer of course. Very friendly, attentive staff. Interesting choice of food and well kept beers. Not sure about parking as we were on foot at the time.
